wlan drucker mit shared key und ad-hoc

Hi alle,

habe Debian Etch mit Kernel 2.6.21-2.

Wollte meinen von meinem Rechner auf eine HP 5850 drucken.
Dieser Drucker besitzt eine Wlan Karte.
Unter Windows läuft das ganze schon recht gut.

Wir haben Wep mit shared Key eingestellt. Da sie direkt verbunden sind,
handelt es sich um eine Ad-hoc Verbindung.

Leider ist wlan unter Linux für mich Neuland und laut meiner Suche
haben auch nicht soviele Leute einen Wlan fähigen Drucker.

Kann mir Jemand sagen ob meine configs richtig sind?

Was soll eigentlich das wifi0? Ist das ein Link auf ath0?

Wo stelle ich ein, welche IP das Interface bei einer Verbindung bekommen soll?
(wpa_supplicant.conf oder interfaces ? )
