Hallo,
ich habe folgendes Problem:
Um neben SuSE 10.2 mal eine weitere Distribution zu installieren, habe ich per JIGDO die DVD debian-40r0-ia64-DVD-1.jigdo heruntergeladen und das ISO-Image gebrannt. (nicht als File).
Die DVD bootet aber nicht. Habe dann noch die CD-Version ebenfalls heruntergeladen und gebrannt - CD bootet auch nicht.
ABER: meine 64-Bit-DVD von OpenSuse 10.2 bootet sehr wohl (wenngleich ich auf Grund meines Boards zum Installieren manuell einen Treiber (JMICRON) nachladen muss). Nur die Debian-DVD zuckt kein bisschen, ich lande sofort im GRUB von Opensuse, welches ich installiert habe und produktiv ist.
PS. Ein Disketten-Laufwerk hat mein Rechner nicht mehr...
Hat jemand einen Tipp für einen Debian-Neuling?
