Suche freien TN3270 Terminal Emulator [Eicon SNA Gateway]

Hi,

ich suche eine Alternative für Aviva for Desktops.
Auf freshmeat und sourceforge habe ich schon gestöbert,
aber keinen Client gefunden, der auch mit einem SNA Gateway funktioniert...

Hast du auch das Debianpaket "x3270" probiert ? Bei uns funktioniert das auch über ein SNA Gateway.

Ja, aber ich bekam damit leider keine Verbindung.
Ich schau es mir aber nochmals genauer an,
da es auch ein Fehler meinerseits gewesen sein kann...

ich bin immer noch auf der Suche.
Da "SNA" Neuland für mich ist, weiß ich nicht genau, wo ich ansetzen muss.

In der Hilfe des proprietären Windows-Clients steht folgendes:

Eicon SNA Gateway is one of the connection types supported by Aviva. An Eicon SNA Gateway is a workstation equipped with an EiconCard and Eicon Technology Gateway software. The gateway links to one or more host computers through an external line, and reroutes information between workstations on the LAN and the hosts.

bzw. auf der Webseite

The product support Telnet, TN3270, TN3270E, TN5250, TN5250E, and superior SNA connectivity such as Desktop 802.2, X.25, Microsoft SNA Server and Eicon SNA Gateways.

Könnte es daran liegen, dass der Client die Verbindung zu "Eicon SNA Gateways" unterstützen muss?
Gibt es da Unterschiede?
