Netzwerkkarte einbinden

Hallo,

irgendwie habe ich gerade ein massives Verständnisproblem. Ich habe ein lauffähiges linux mit einenm selbsterstellten kernel 2.4.27 und eine neue zweite Netzwerkkarte eingebaut.

lspci gibt dazu folgendes aus:

wenn ich ifconfig aufrufe wird mir aber nur die 2. Netzwerkkarte ausgegeben. Mein interfaces sieht so aus.

Don't seem to be have all the variables for eth1/inet.

Die Treiber sind auch da, dafür habe ich mir extra einen neuen kernel gebacken und die Treiber reingenommen. Die Steckplätze sind ok, hab ich auch schon getauscht. eth0 ist die via Karte

Die Netzwerkkarte wird nicht erkannt, oder muß man noch irgendwo debian Bescheid sagen, das es nun eine weitere Netzwerkkarte gibt?

mehr kann ich doch nicht tun, damit die Karte erkannt wird. Ich habe schon 2 Realtek Karten ausprobiert.

diese Meldung. Kann jemand damit etwas anfangen? Kann es sein, das bei meinen neuen Kernel etwas schief gegangen ist beim erstellen? Ich habe jetzt schon 2 neue ausprobiert, immer das selbe.

du hast recht, aber was mache ich denn nun. Die Datei per Hand editieren und was? Würde es was helfen wenn ich versuchen würde eine frühere Version dieser Datei zu bekommen? Ich müßte mir ja nur die kernel-sourcen neu ziehen, oder?
