Bootsplash Kernel 2.6.8-2

Hi,
ich habe o.g. Kernel und suche grad den Patch für den Bootsplash.
Unter http://www.bootsplash.de/files/ liegt nur dieser Patch: bootsplash-3.1.4-sp3-2.6.8.1.diff.
Mit dem kann ich ja nichts anfangen.
Wo krieg ich das richtige File her?

ich habe den 3.1.6-2.6.8 genommen. das scheint zu funktionieren.

Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?

genau das selbe hatte ich auch. ich habe es gelöst indem ich ins verzeichnis /usr/src/linux bin, was du ja schon bist, und den patch dann ausgeführt habe. das das bei dir jetzt net hinhaut überfordert mein wissen.

Versuch mal, wenn du in /usr/src/linux bist:

patch -p1 < bootsplash-3.1.6-2.6.8.diff

bootsplash-3.1.6-2.6.8.diff muss sich dabei natürlich in /usr/src/linux befinden.

@rcc: das ist ja das, was ich gemacht habe und der weggelassene pfad kanns ja nicht sein..
die ausgabe ist:
