Dvd und brenner funktionieren nicht richtig...

Also ich hab hier nen Pc mit Pioneer Dvd Laufwekr und Lg Brenner... Das ganze mit nem 2.6.11er Kernel...

Die Laufwerke tun allerdings nur manchmal was ich möchte... Kopieren von Dateien auf Daten cds ist zum Beispiel kein problem... auch das auslesen von audio cds geht (zwar langsam aber es geht) !

Nicht funktionieren tut das kopieren von video cds,multisession cds und das erstellen von image dateien mit k3b... auch cd brennen geht nicht.

das brennen von Multisession-CDs - auf der konsole - habe ich auch etwas umständlich in Erinnerung.
Ich brenne enweder die CD gleich fertig oder nehme eine CD-RW zum probieren

Wie weit sich das auf k3b auswirkt kann ich Dir leider nicht sagen

Dafür das angeblich keine scsi emulation läuft steht da recht viel scsi zeug...

...nee das "pass schon"
Du solltest ohne Probleme mit folgender Option brennen können - "speed" und "*.iso" noch anpassen:

cdrecord -v dev=ATAPI:0,1,0 speed=12 driveropts=burnfree test.iso 

bzw eine CD-RW kannst Du nun schnell löschen mit:

cdrecord -v dev=ATAPI:0,1,0 blank=fast

bzw. schnelles löschen sollte auch mit folgendem Befehl gehen - "hdX"-Anpassen:

cdrecord -v dev=/dev/hdd blank=fast

...und so weiter

Sofern diese Aktionen auf der Konsole gehen, solltest Du unter k3b die richtigen Optionen einstellen können, damit Du problemlos brennen kannst
