neue Kernel backen -> hdb nichtmehr mounten

hi
hab ein ziemlich seltsames und verwirrendes problem
ich benutzen debian 3.1 sarge
immer wenn ich eine neue kernel backe und installieren (2.6.10 und 2.6.11) kann ich meine hdb nichtmehr mounten
ich bekomme immer die meldung:
mount: /dev/hdb1 already mounted or /daten2 busy

wenn ich dann wieder mit der alten original kernel (2.6.8.xxx) boote kommt das selbe problem

wenn ich aber die kernel vom debian server als dep packet zeihen funktioniert alles
wenn ich den tree vom debian server ziehe und selbst backe nicht
auch wenn ich die config von der kernel vom deb server nehme, und dann mit make oldconfig konfige (nur das high memory modul wird auf 4 gb gestellt) gehts wieder nicht.

:) problem hat sich gelöst
da ich debian stable benutze sind einige libs und so veraltet
hab einfach mal schnell alles neu gemacht und alle backport packete installiert und dann gebacken .. volla es geht :)
einziges problem: mit dem ganzen backports hab ich mir mein system gef*ck, und jetzt geht nahezu nichtsmehr ohne ner stunde verzögerung.
jemand ne ahnung wo ich eine komplette liste aller libs und versionen die ich für 2.6.11 brauche herbekommen ?

nein ich benutze sarge stable ..
das mit dem backports hat mir nur jemand geraten der anscheinend woody benutzt
und ich habs einfach auch mal mit meinem sarge probiert
und es ging
anscheinend sind bei sarge stable auch einige libs total alt.
muss jetzt nurnoch rausfinden welche libs ich wirklich brauche

Entweder benutzt Woody das ist die Momentan noch die aktuelle Stable, aber mittlerweile total veraltet. . Oder Sarge das ist noch Testing, soll aber demnächst Stable werden und Woody ablösen. Und wenn du tatsächlich die Backports von Woody in dein Sarge installiert hast dann hast du ein heilloses durcheinander angerichtet.

uiuiui - langsam ... backports haben den sinn das man unter einem relase das alt aber stabil ist (woody) dinge von releases einsezten kann die aktueller sind (sarge/sid) - d.h. ein packet wird explizit für diesen zweck gebackportet

mein rat an dich
verw. sarge oder sid und lass den sinnlosen workaround mit backports unter sarge sein - was ja ansich schon keinen sinn macht ...

jupp war wirklich n heilloses durcheinander .. aber jetzt weis ich zumindenst das es wirklich an den fehlenden/veralteten libs lag
bei der sarge installation kann man doch am anfang bei der installation auswählen ob testing, unstable, oder stable pakete benutzt werden soll.
da meinte ich das stable

Falsch, wenn ich eine DVD oder CD habe wo Sarge/Testing draufsteht dann ist das da Sarge/Testing drinn, da ist nichts mit Auswählen zwischen stable und testing, was ich allerdings wählen kann ob mit einem Kernel 2.4.27 oder Kernel 2.6.8 installiert wird.
