Wir wollen für eine Web-Anwendung einen Compaq-Server unter Debian 3.0 installieren. Der Server soll entweder min. Spiegelplatten oder aber ein RAID 5 Array enthalten.
Hat jemand Erfahrung mit Compaq-RAID unter Debian? Welche(r) Compaq-RAID-Controller werden von Debian 3.0 unterstützt?

compaq raid und debian
Bei mir läuft scsi auf einem Compaq Prolliant (19") mit 5 scsi einschub Platten und
einen SCSI cdrom brenner und nen scsi streamer von hp
Version: woody 3.0 rc0 mit kernel 2.2.20-compact
SCSI storage controller: NCR 53x825 rev 2
mass storage controller: Compaq Smart2/P RAID Cointroller rev 3
