how to deactivate sshd

Hi,

I am using Debian sarge. Some services like sshd, snort are running automatically by start. I checked /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/xinetd.conf files to deactive them, but could not find any lines relevant to these services. What am I missing?

Du musst die links in /etc/rc2.d zu den entsprechenden Startscripts löschen. Entweder per Hand oder bequemer mit rcconf oder mittels update-rc.d .
