wie kann ich den path vom kernel einstellen...

installier doch einfach mal die kernel-source deines aktuellen kernels, dann findet der installer normalerweise das teil auch

jo...das war das erste, was ich gemacht habe....

hat aber anscheinend nichts genützt...

ähm... kernel selbst gebacken?
Wenn nicht, dann helfen dir die Kernel-Headers deines aktuellen Kernels (wenn du also kernel-image-2.6.6-1-k7 installiert hast, dann musst du kernel-headers-2.6.6-1-k7 installieren)
dann nochmal probieren...
Es gab dann auch eine Option --kernel-source-path=
da startest du den NVIDIA-Installer dann halt z.B. mit:
# sh NVIDIA[...]-pkg1.run --kernel-source-path=/usr/src/kernel-headers[kernel-version]

damit sollte es funktionieren
Wenn nicht noch mal melden, dann geb ich dir die andere mögliche Lösung
