Probleme mit Bootsplash

Hallo,

um einen Bootsplash einzurichten habe ich mich für die Anleitung in
"Tipps" im Forum entschieden.
Ich benutze den Kernel 2.4.26 mit ck-patches bzw. lck-patches 2.4
Diese enhalten auch die Unterstützung für den Bootsplash.
Auszug aus meiner Kernel config:
CONFIG_FBCON_SPLASHSCREEN=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD=y
Sollte laut Anleitung alles sein.
Allerdings bekomme ich bei der Installation schon Fehler.

Habe ich ein Problem mit Perl oder liegt der Fehler ganz woanders ?
Wer kann mir dabei helfen ?

Um den Bootsplash einrichten zu können mußte
ich die entsprechenden Einträge in die sources.list
hinzufügen.
Diese verweisen auf unstable, mein System ist aber testing.
Ist es möglich das sich dieses nicht verträgt und die Installation
dadurch fehlschlägt ?

Ja, ist möglich, dass sich das wegen Sarge nicht verträgt. Ich hab die Installation des Bootsplashs bis jetzt auch nur auf SID gemacht, sonst hätte ich im wiki auch was über Sarge geschrieben...

Deine Fehlermeldungen sehen allerdings nicht wie die normalen Dependency Fehler aus, die man bekommen kann, wenn man Sarge und SID 'mischt'. Mir sagen die leider auch nicht so viel...

Meinst Du es ist sinnvoll es noch mal mit den
sourcen von Bootsplash.org zu versuchen ?
Mal abgesehen von den Perl Fehlern scheint es ja am configure
zu liegen. Nach dependency Fehlern sieht das wirklich nicht aus.
Wirft apt-get eigentlich auch noch irgendwelche logs ?
Weil die Info in dieser Ausgabe ja eher dünn ist.

Klar, mit den Sourcen könntest du es natürlich auch versuchen, hab ich selber noch nie gemacht, aber muss ja auch möglich sein. Schreib mal wie das so läuft!

AFAIK, hat apt-get keine Logs...

Hast du diese Perl Fehler auch bei anderen Befehlen? Evtl. Perl neu drauf machen?
