[teilweise gelöst] mirror server lädt keine updates

Schönenn guten morgen.

Ich verwende Debian 9.4.0 Stretch und habe einen MIRROR Server installiert. Seit kurzem lädt der Server keine Updates mehr und am Client erhalte ich die Meldung:

Dies hatte die ganze zeit auch funktioniert. Bis ich meine mirror.list bearbeitet hatte. Die verzeichnisse sind gleich geblieben. Hier hab ich nichts verändert.

Wenn ich sudo apt-mirror ausführe, läuft folgendes immer wieder ab:

1.7 GiB will be downloaded into archive. dieser Vorgang wird auch immer wieder wiederholt? Kann man dies zurücksetzten oder gibt es weitere Befehle?

also ich hab jetzt einfach die Inhalte der Update Verzeichnisse gelöscht und den Mirror neu gestartet.

Ich erhalte am Client aktuell die Meldung das mein MIRROR Server kein Release file hat. Ich wüsste jedoch nicht was ich falsch gemacht habe.

Leicht OT: warum benutzt Du apt-mirror? Wenn es Dir nur darum geht, dass viele Clients die selben Pakete erhalten sollen, dann wäre z.B. apt-cacher-ng ne bessere Wahl. Im Gegensatz zu nem kompletten Mirror holt er nur die Pakete, die von den Clients angefordert werden und nicht kiloweise Zeug was man eh nie braucht. Nachteil wäre nur, dass der erste Client jeweils warten muss bis das gewünschte Pakete im Cache ist, aber das ist aus meiner Sicht vernachlässigbar. Falls das aber sehr stört, kann man auch nen cronjob anwerfen, der z.B. die gewünschten Pakete nachts einmal in den Cache zieht.

Nachdem empfohlen wird, SECURITY Updates nicht von einem eigenen MIRROR Server zu laden, lass ich meine Clients evtl. doch online sämtliche Updates holen.
Da mach ich mich jedoch noch einmal schlau... Trotzdem schon mal danke für den Tipp.

wegen exakt dieser Probleme nutze ich go-apt-mirror an der 4ma und go-apt-cacher bei mir zu Hause, um meinen Installationen einen zuverlässigen mirror bzw. cacher zur Verfügung zu stellen. Hier habe ich mal beschrieben, wie ich es installiert habe:
