Wie konfiguriere ich Lenny, um Boot Text Meldungen während Bootvorgangs nicht anzuzeigen?

Du wirst dem Kernel sicher ein "quiet" mitgeben müssen (Grub Konfiguration).

Ich habe bereits in /boot/grub/menu.lst folgendes eingetragen:

aber es hilt nicht weiter.

aber es hilt nicht weiter.

die Zeile wirkt erst, wenn sie in der "Kernel" Zeile steht.

für automatisch von Debian verwaltete kernel musst du in wie gehabt defoptions anpassen

für manuell hinzugefügte musst du das natürlich direkt in der kernel Zeile eintrage

Danke, aber "quiet" steht es bereits in der "Kernel" Zeile und ich bekomme trotzdem diese Boot Text Meldungen.
