Software Center is not working

Hello ALL,
I just tried Software Center on my freshly installed Testing, but it does not work: when I click on Install it turns gray and nothing happens. How can I make this application functional? I tried it both as an user and root. No luck -- same behavior.

I just tried Software Center

I don't know "Software Center", but maybe you try "Synaptic" instead. "apt-get install synaptic". It shows all installable packages.

Hello, I really did not want to be offensive or to hurt anyones feelings. Thing is that my German is quite poor and that I have previously asked if that would be fine to write in English, having YES for the answer.

It´s no big deal to ask questions in english here, even if we are a german speaking board.
If anyone knows the software you are using and the solution for your problem he will answer you anyway.

But, I like to hang with you guys! No matter language! And I promise, I will refresh mu German asap! (My grandparents would love that!)

Meanwhile: Software Center is not working, period! Also, Computer Janitor, which is also Ubuntu (Canonical) contribution, does not working either!
