Festplatte hinüber?

Warum Debian und/oder eine seiner Spielarten? Was muss ich vorher wissen? Wo geht es nach der Installation weiter?

Festplatte hinüber?

Hallo, bis vor kurzem alles ok, dann kamen zuerst einzelne Blockaden (Hänger) und nun bleibt der Rechner beim Hochfahren still.
Seine Funktion: CW-Server, 24x7Tg Betrieb. Nach einer Neu-installation (Devian-Etch) nun dies:
Soll ich sie entsorgen, was meint ihr?

Für "Pending Sector" wird ein Wert von 8 angezeigt. Beim Lesen dieser Sektoren dürften auch diese "Hänger" ausgelöst werden. Ansich könnten diese Sektoren noch umgemappt werden, dazu müßtest du auf diese Sektoren jedoch einen Schreibvorgang auslösen.
Nachdem aber laut dem Error-Log schon einige Sektoren betroffen sind und die Festplatte doch schon älter sein dürfte, würde ich sie doch entsorgen.

Ja so schlimm sieht die noch nicht aus. Aber schon die Betriebsstunden sind hoch.
