Ich würd zumindest das komplette /etc/ Verzeichnis sichern. Ob du virtuelle Maschinen/Mails/Sonstwas unter /var/ zu liegen hast, dürftest du wohl wissen.
Bei einer Stretch-Neuinstallation wirst du mit den neuen unpredictable network names zu kämpfen haben. Oder auch nicht, wenn der Networkmananger dich per DHCP online macht.

wieso das /etc-Verzeichnis sichern?
Kann da nicht was drin sein, das mir evtl. nach der Neuinstallation wieder Probleme verursacht?
Die Sachen aus /opt habe ich ins Homeverzeichnis kopiert und kopiere sie nach der Neuinstallation zurueck ins /opt.
Allerdings habe ich die config von apt-cacher ng nicht gefunden. Die muesste ich unbedingt sichern.

Ja, sicherlich kann es das. Ich sag ja nicht, dass du das gesamte /etc Verzeichnis nachher blind zurückspielen solltest. ich wollte mich ja nach erfolgreicher Neuinstallation wieder melden.
ER DRUCKT!!!
Nachdem ich gestern mit der Installation begonnen hatte, der Installer aber mehrere Stunden gebraucht hat, um das RAID zu Nullen, habe ich ihn ueber Nacht laufen lassen und heute dann die Installation zu Ende gefuehrt.
Als Erstes habe ich nachgeschaut, ob cups und hplip installiert sind. Sind sie und auch die hplip.conf existiert in /etc/hp
Dann habe ich im Browser localhost:631 geoeffnet und den Drucker eingerichtet und eine Testseite ausgedruckt. Jetzt druckt er wieder!!!
Allerdings verwundert mich dies hier immer noch:
Warum das bei mir nicht funktioniert ist mir schleierhaft!
Aber hauptsache ist: Er druckt!

Wenn du dir mal anguckst, dann sieht mir das so aus, als ob du einen Drucker angeben musst. Zumindest beschwert er sich bei dir, dass er keinen Drucker findet, also muss man ihm wohl zeigen, wo er sich versteckt hat.

Ich hab keine Ahnung von HP-Druckern, hplip und hp-check, aber das sieht mir so aus, als ob er dir viele Abhängigkeiten listet, die du nur brauchst, wenn du hplip selber kompilieren willst.

Also für mich sieht das immer noch sinnlos aus, was hp-check da erzählt. Ich wüsste nicht, wofür du die ganzen -dev Pakete brauchen solltest, oder "make" oder "g++". Vielleicht kann sich wer anders da einen Reim drauf machen.
Solange alles läuft, würd ich da nicht mehr dran rütteln.

Alternativ kann man eine Testseite natürlich auch über Cups ausdrucken.
Ansonsten kann ich mich da nur NAB anschließen. Wenn alles Funktioniert - Lass es wie es ist. hp- check prüft nicht nur die Pakete, die speziell
für dich nötig sind, sondern generelle Abhängig und Möglichkeiten , wofür eventuell *.dev Pakete notwendig sind.
Irgendwo stand z.B. dass
wget fehlt ---> wird spätestens dann zum Problem wenn HP-GUI nach einem Update mal wieder meckert, das irgend mysteriöses Plugin fehlt, das es gerne herunterladen möchte (Bei mir Standard.- Meckerei an die ich mich inzwischen gewöhnt habe)-
