Jessie friert häufig ein

Hallo zusammen,

seit Kurzem friert Debian Jessie bei mir immer häufiger ein. Das Problem trat zunächst nur im Zusammenhang mit VirtualBox 4.2.16 auf. Wenn ich nach Systemstart einen Windows8-Gast startete blieb Jessie beim Hochfahren des Gastes abrupt hängen.

Mittlerweile passiert das in ähnliche Form auch ohne VB. Der Mauszeiger reagiert dann nur noch sehr langsam bis sich gar nichts mehr rührt, so als ob irgendetwas das System vollständig auslastet.

Möglicherweise sind das auch zwei unterschiedliche Fehler. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

gibt es sowas wie ein letztes Lebenszeichen in den Log's? Bei mir ist Jessie auch eingefroren, Grund war ein defektes (nagelneues) RAM-Modul. Macht es natürlich leicht, wenn unmittelbar nach der Aufrüstung die Kiste spinnt! Lass evtl. mal memtester o.ä. laufen....

Ohh ja. Hab vergessen zu Schreiben, dass der Arbeitsspeicher bereits überprüft wurde mit MemTest. Hab mir auch ein Paar Log-Dateien (messages und syslog - sind das die richtigen???) angesehen und für mich schauen die unauffällig aus...

@MarkusF vielleicht sollte ich den RAM trotzdem nochmal ausführlicher testen.

Das ist alles unmittelbar vor dem Absturtz gelogt worden.
Ich weiß ja nicht was du genau brauchst. Ich kann auch versuchen die Dateien irgendwo hochzuladen.

Hab den Arbeitsspeicher nochmal getestet; wieder ohne Ergebnis.

wenns wieder träge wird, mal mit strg-alt-F2 auf ne 2. Konsole und als root htop eingeben Da siehst du dann welcher Prozess spinnt und die CPU frisst.
Apropos Virtual Box - die neueste Version - zumindest unter Windows als Host ist von der Performance her ne Katastrophe.
