Druckertreiber Canon für ARM Board

Hallo

Ich versuche schon seit einigen tagen auf meinem ARM Board unter Debian Wheezy die Druckertreiber von Canon (2.20) zu compilieren. Leider mit mittelmäßigem erfolg. Ich komme in einem Unterordner (statusui) einfach nicht weiter. Vllt sind die auch so gestrickt keine Ahnung Könnte die mir jemand übersetzen und als .deb packen oder mir dabei helfen?! Ich würde einfach nochmal den Quellcode neu nehmen und die ausgabe morgen Posten damit ihr einen Anhaltspunkt habt wo es hängen könnte.

Welche Treiber meinst du (Link bitte!)? Warum reicht cups nicht?
Und welche Architektur verwendest du? armel oder armhf? armhf ist noch nicht ganz ausgegoren, wenn sich da also was nicht kompilieren lässt muss das nicht am Treiber liegen.

An für sich geiles Teil und genau das richtige für mich. Jetzt muss ich nur noch das Drucken hinbekommen.
CUPS läuft auch und auch eine .ppd Datei konnte ich aus dem Quellcode herrausholen aber es wird noch eine Datei (oder mehr, ich komme ja ander einen schon nicht vorbei) benötigt die aus dem Quellcode (laut google) gebaut wird.

Also wohl armel.

Kannst du bitte etwas präziser werden?! Was ist "laut google"? Hast du eine Anleitung befolgt? Wenn ja, welche und wo kommst du nicht weiter?
Und welche Datei(en) meinst du? genaue Fehermeldungen wären hilfreich. In den READMEs stehen Abhängigkeiten zum Kompilieren drin. Hast du die erfüllt?

Ich kann vielleicht heute Abend versuchen den Treiber zu kompilieren. Zu einer sinnvollen Fehlersuche werde ich aber nicht vor dem Wochenende kommen. Und da wäre es hilfreich zu wissen was du schon probiert hast und wo genau es klemmt.

Also CUPS zeigt mir an

Frei - "File "/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoufr2cpca" not available: No such file or directory"

. Ich habe mal nach gegooglet und halt nur die Verbindung zum Canon Treiber herraus gefunden. Ja ich habe soweit die abhängigkeiten aus dem README erfüllt (hoffe ich doch) ich habe auch versucht aus den Fehlern schlau zu werden und noch ein paar weitere Kleinigkeiten installiert die nicht aufgelistet standen. Einige Fehler sind dann auch verschwunden aber es hakt trotzdem irgendwo.
Ich lass mal die Fehler in eine Datei ausgeben und häng die mal nachher an.

Soweit ich das sehen konnte ist alles aus dem Ordner "cndrrvcups-common-2.20" durchgelaufen nur "cndrvcups-capt-2.20" macht mir halt sorgen.

Sorry wenn ich da nicht so genau beschreiben kann. Für mich ist C/C++ und Linux zu hoch. Ich habe mal auf dem Amiga programmiert unter E und da war das um Welten einfacher

Kompilier deinen Treiber noch einmal und paste die Fehlermeldung zwischen ein Code-Segment hier ins Forum. Schreib ausserdem dazu, was du alles tust, um den Treiber zu bauen. Ist zufaellig ein "./configure"-Aufruf dabei? Was liefert "./configure --help" ? Ist es moeglich Bestandteile des Paketes zu deaktivieren? Es scheint so als haette das Treiber-Paket GUI-Bestandteile, die du niemals brauchen wirst.

Ich gehe nach README also "make gen" oder "./allgen.sh" im hauptverzeichniss und dann gehts los.

Ich habe mal die 2.0 Version genommen und diese wurde bis auf eine Meldung durchgezogen. In beiden Ordnern. Auch "Make Install" ging. Die Datei ist auch jetzt vorhanden bekomme aber keine Verbindung zum Drucker , ne blöd ausgedrückt ... Verbindung ja..."sending data" steht auch da, aber passiert nix.

Das sind nur Warnung, die man vernachlaessigen kann. Die beiden Archiv enthalden ausserdem Debian-Meta Daten, so dass man Pakete draus bauen kann, wenn man will (jedenfalls in Version 2.20). Du koenntest also in den Ordner "cndrvcups-common-2.20" wechseln und per "dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot" ein Paket draus bauen. Voraussetzung ist mindestens dpkg-dev. Das Gleiche machst du mit dem cndrvcups-lb (dieses Archiv enthaelt den Code fuer pstoufr2cpca).

Sollte dpkg-buildpackage abbrechen, dann paste doch bitte die Fehlermeldungen in den Thread.

Das cndrvcups-lb-2.20 benoetigt Teile aus ndrvcups-common-2.20 als Voraussetzung, deshalb musst du erst ndrvcups-common erfolgreich bauen und installieren bevor du das zweite Paket erstellen kannst.

. Nach einem erneuten "dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot" wird ein *.deb Paket herausfallen, welches du per "dpkg -i file.deb" installierst. Danach machst du dich an das naechste Paket.

Das Programm "strip" aus den binutils scheint die Bibliothek nicht nachbearbeiten zu koennen. Normalerweise werden damit unnoetige (z.B. Debug-)Symbole aus dem Binary entfernt. In einen Bug-Report findet man, dass binutils mal fehlerhaft war. Die Aktualisierung auf eine Version aus experimental bringt aber keine Abhilfe. Auch das Auskommentieren der Zeile "dh_strip" aus der "debian/rules" fuehrt zu keinem erfolgreichen Abschluss des Vorgangs. Schade eigentlich...

Eine gute Nachricht gibt es aber: Der Build an sich scheint vollstaendig. Du koenntest die Dateien also mit einem "make install" verteilen und dich danach an das andere Paket machen. Dieses sollte nun das notwendige buftool finden koennen.

Bei "cndrvcapt-lb-2.20" bricht er mit Fehlermeldung ab. Ein "make install" kann ich bei beiden Ordnern machen. Vom Server aus eine Testseite Drucken funktioniert nicht. Von einem anderen Rechner mit Linux auch nicht aber von Windows kann ih Drucken Liegt es am unfertig Kompilierten Treiber?

Vielleicht solltest du erstmal auf einem konventionellen System den Drucker unter Linux zum drucken bewegen und dich danach erst an dein ARM-System heran wagen.

Das ist kein Problem unter Ubuntu (normal Intel) installiere ich einfach die .deb Packet und es läuft. Alle anderen Rechner funktionierten davor schon ohne Probleme. Naja ausser das einer immer den Drucker vergisst beim ausschalten aber von dem Drucke ich ehr selten

---Nachtrag ---
Jetzt geht's auch mit dem Nachbarn hab von der Australischen Canon seite die 2.50 runtergeladen und unter den Ubuntu's Installiert. Vom Testrechner aus läuft's erstmal. Ich habe auch ne Anleitung um die Treiber und nen AMD64 zu bauen und werde die mit euren Hinweisen nochmals versuchen.
