Moschip MCS7830 Erkannt aber ohne Funktion

[compaq1000]

Hallo ich habe mir von HAMA ein USB to Ethernet Adapter geholt. Er wird auch erkannt zu mindest unter "lsusb" aber er wird nicht als eth1 erkannt und aktiviert. Kann mir einer sagen warum oder was ich machen muss?

Versuche es mit einem anderen Kernel, deb-Standard / backports (wg. mcs7830 / usbnet).

Eintrag in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules ? Diese mal löschen und Neustart?
<-> Der udev 175 aus testing?

Muß vielleicht das ethernet-Kabel eingesteckt sein?
mcs7830 muß vielleicht vor den vz-Modulen geladen werden (wie das e1000e hier) <->
Schon beim Booten eingesteckt? Oder in /etc/modules? Oder initrd?

rfkill ist geladen, vielleicht erst über rfkill zu aktivieren?



Eine alternative usb-NIC funktioniert (momentan) vielleicht besser?

finde ich aber dann doch seltsam, weil Du keinen debian-Kernel benutzt linux-image-2.6.32-5-openvz-amd64,
aber dennoch wohl Zugang zum Gerät hast.

Bitte nachdenken beim Posten.
-C[2|3|4] ist ein Spiel mit dem Parameter.
Daß Du hier dreimal dasselbe postest sollte Dir auffallen.
Auch daß hier nur das letzte Auftauchen von "eth" (in Verbindung mit dem MosChip) interessiert.

Leider bringt es scheinbar nicht weiter.

Vorher war es usb 2-1.2 device 8, Umstecken hilft also auch nicht?

und nee auch umstecken hilft nix ... ich hatte vorher einen anderen adapter der tadellos funktioniert hatte dann aber die folgende meldung gebracht hat ...

defekt ist der nicht zumindest funktioniert er am win system bestens ... er hat auch den Moschip drauf ...

Dann sehe ich, zumindest mit diesem Kernel, keinen Sinn für weitere Versuche.
Das scheint mir ein Gerät zu sein, das entweder sofort ohne weitere Einstellungen funktioniert, oder gar nicht.
