Ich habe die Datei master.conf angepasst. Vorher waren es „+90 days“.

Aber der Befehl dirvish-expire löscht nichts:

Soweit ich weiß hat die expire-rule doch Vorrang vor expire-default.

Zwar steht bei expire-default 30 Tage, aber in der nicht-kommentierten Zeile von expire-rule steht 3 Monate für alle Backups, die an einem Montag erstellt wurden.

Ich vermute, dass das entsprechende Backup an einem Montag erstellt wurde.

It should be noted that all expiration rules will do is to cause dirvish to put an Expire: option in the summary file.

Sprich die Regeln werden bei der Erstellung direkt bei den Images gespeichert und deine Regeländerung wirkt sich nur auf neu erstellte Images aus.

Also bleibt mir nichts anderes übrig, als alles zu löschen und dann erneut Backups anzulegen?

Du kannst das Expire Feld in den summary files manuell ändern und dann löscht dirvish diese "abgelaufenen" Backups.

Ich habe jetzt die Backups gelöscht, aber danke für den Tipp. Den werde ich dann vielleicht ein anderes mal ausprobieren.
