1) Futro A120 von WIN-CE auf Debian stable ( 486er Kernel ) - okay
2) Netgear MA111 - no function
3) Programm " module-assistant " mit jede Menge Kaff & Zigarillos - okay

4) Progrämmlis installiert, wie u.a. wi-cd ( Konsole ) - okay - Anzeige der umliegenden AP´s funzt
5) Porgramm "hostapd" installiert, ssid geändert, als deamon gestartet - keine Kosolen-Meldung-ich denke -> sieht okay aus
ABER
Wenn ich meinen Acer Aspire mit eingebautem WLAN anwerfe, dann " sehe " ich meinen vermeintlichen AP NICHT
6) hostapd nochmals NICHT als daemon gestartet und dann diese Ernüchterung :

Es soll (in diesem Fall für die prism) also bestimmte Treiber verboten werden.

Vielleicht ist der Treiber des 2.6.26 nicht host-fähig?

Hab da noch nen TP-Link WLAN USB Stick gefunden TL-WN721N . . . . . .
Wenn ich jetzt den MA111 abzieh und den TL-WN721N einstekce erhalte ich diese Meldungen :

Du arbeitest demnach nicht mit einem stable/squeeze mit lenny-Kernel,
sondern mit einem oldstable/lenny.

na dann werd icke jetzt mal versuchen von, wie du schreibst :

Auf den stable/squeeze lenny Kernel " upzudaten " - Mal sehen WAS icke da an meiner /etc/apt/sources.list ändern muß, denn aktuell sieht sie so aus :

ev. hilft ja schon das auskommentieren der letzten Zeile, denn da ist ja von " lenny-backports " die Rede
Oder ich lass netselect-apt mit dem parameter " squeeze " laufen & danach dann ein apt-get update & ein apt-get upgrade

Andere hilfreiche Kommentare, oder Tipps zum " richtigen " Weg zum erfolgreichen AP mit dem TL-WN721N WLAN-USB-Stick an den sich dann meine EDIMAX IP-WEBCAM anmelden kann & jede Stunde ein Bild macht und das dann automatisch auf meine HP hochlädt und dem noch nicht funktionalen Sound aus dem SIS7019 Chip
