s2ram & wol @ Foxconn 45CS

System: Debian Lenny - AMD64
Board: Foxconn 45CS ( Atom 230 )

Betreibe einen, wie oben beschriebenen, Server mit VDR, Samba & Co.
Nun will ich ihn aus Gründen der Sparsamkeit mit s2ram sowie wol versehen.
Das Hauptproblem ist, dass ich das wol nicht zum laufen bekomme, da im Standby der onboard NIC aus ist

Stand: Suspend2Ram geht wenn ich es mit der Option -f erwzinge.
Frage: Wie kann ich s2r auslösen wenn nach Zeit x keine Client-Verbindung mehr exestieren ?

Dennoch ist der Rechner nur noch via PowerButton zu wecken.
Er soll via WOL aufgeweckt werden da der lokale Zugriff nicht die Lösung ist.
Hat jemand Erfahrung bzw. eine Idee ? Danke!

Der Befehl "shutdown now -h" müsste natürlich demenstprechend geändert werden.

Danke, das sieht alles schon mal recht interessant aus.
Problem bei der ersten Lösung ist das das script mit nmap arbeitet.
Der Server hängt aber in einer DMZ durch eine Firewall getrennt von den anderen Netzen. Somit wird der nmap scan immer negativ ausfallen.

Der zweite Ansatz ist schon interessanter auch wenn dieser ping nutzt was sicher zum selben resultat führen wird aber mir noch wesentlich besser gefällt als die Variante mit nmap. Aber auch ein Ping aus der DMZ sollte nicht möglich sein.

Gibt es denn eine Möglichkeit das über netstat zu lösen? Man quasi den Ansatz des letzten links nimmt jedoch nicht mit ping oder nmap checkt ob die Hosts noch on sind sondern ob sie eine Verbindung zum Server haben?

Also wenn Conntection von HostA ( 192.168.0.2 ) vorhanden dann nix tun - else - sleepmodus.
