nodeadkeys funktioniert in xorg.conf nicht

Hallo,

meine Keyborad konfiguration sieht so aus:

Section "InputDevice"
	Identifier  "Keyboard0"
	Driver      "keyboard"
        Option      "CoreKeyboard"
	Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
	Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
	Option "XkbLayout" "de"
	Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"

seit ich auf lenny umgestiegen bin, funktioniert bei PC und Laptop das deaktivieren der deadkey in der xorg.conf aber nicht mehr.

ein

setxkbmap -variant "nodeadkeys"

auf der kommandozeile funktioniert.

Hat das was mit HAL zu tun? Ist die konfiguration des keyboards in xorg.conf deprecated? Muß ich die deadkeys in
/etc/hal/fdi/policy/preferences.fdi
eintragen?

Vielleicht pfuscht Dir da auch Dein Desktop rein? Gnome, KDE?
