Kein Netz nach Installation
Hallo liebe Gemeinde,
nach der Installation von einer aktuellen stable-CD (503) ist es mir nicht möglich per DHCP eine IP zu beziehen.
ifconfig verrät mir, daß eine Netzwerkkarte eth0 vorhanden ist, die aber über keine IP verfügt.
Weise ich der Karte mittels ifconfig eine feste Adresse zu und starte einen Ping auf meinen Router, so erscheint diese Adresse in einer Filterliste des Routers. Es ist nicht möglich andere Rechner anzupingen bzw eine Anwort auf ein Ping von betroffenen Rechner zu erhalten.
Hardwareprobleme schließe ich aus, da diverse Live-CDs und auch die Deian-Installations-CD während der Installation problemlos auf das Netz zugreifen können.
Die Netzwerkkarte ist ein Intel 82551ER PCI Fast Ethernet Controller. Die Kernelmodule e100 und mii sind geladen.
Ich auch, weil ich nicht mehr weiß wo ich noch ansetzen soll.
Bin für jeden Tip dankbar.

Du könntest mal versuchen das Netzwerk manuell zu setzen. Gehen wir von einem Router mit IP 192.168.1.1 aus. Falls es abweicht, bitte anpassen.
Und nun:

nach der manuellen Konfiguration der Karte mit ifconfig sieht es so aus:
Der ping auf den Router endet mit "host unreachable".

Ich suche eine Richtung, in die ich weiter suchen kann. Könnte es am fehlenden Powermanagement des Rechners liegen? Gibt es noch andere Möglichkeiten die Karte oder das Netzwerk zu parametrieren?
