zuerstmal möchte ich mich entschuldigen, das ich gleich in meinem ersten Beitrag um Hilfe bitten muß, aber ich weiß grad nicht mehr weiter...also Danke schonmal

Also, fangen wir mal an.
Ich habe ein NAS der Firma Level One, genauer gesagt ein FNS-1000, siehe http://www.level-one.de/levelone.php?pa ... loads#tabs
Das tut auch soweit recht gut, dank Linux, hat aber einige Schwächen:
- kein NFS
- kein Zugang über ssh/telnet
Ich habe dann eine ältere, gepatschte Firmware geflasht, die diese Sachen behob, allerdings konnte der dort verbaute NFS keine wsize über 8192. Andere Firmwares sind für die Kiste nicht zu finden, das NAS ist halt schon älter...
Es gibt jedoch ein sehr ähnliches NAS von Linksys (NSLU2), auf das man ein komplettes Debian ziehen kann, siehe http://www.cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/install.html
Gesagt, getan. 4 GB USB Stick ins FNS-1000 gesteckt und Debian installiert. Das war dann auch so nach ca. 4 Stunden erledigt

Jetzt hab ich nur ein größeres (und nen paar kleine) Problem(e):
Das größte Problem ist, das meine eingebaute IDE-Festplatte nicht erkannt wird...das ist irgendwie ne uncoole Sache bei nem NAS

Das wird wohl daran liegen, das das NLSU2, für das diese Debianinstallation ja gedacht ist, halt "nur" USB-Platten unterstützt und keine IDE.
Wer kann mir denn jetzt helfen, das meine IDE-Platte erkannt wird und mir das Vorgehen dazu erklären?
