Größe der Partition nicht änderbar

Guten Tag,

Ich habe mir vorgenommen Debian Lenny zu installieren, jedoch komme ich bei der partitionierung nicht weiter. Ich will ein dualboot mit windows und dazu auf der 120GB HD eine 20GB partition erstellen für debian. Jedoch sagt mir Debian bei der installation, dass die änderung der partition aus einem unbekannten fehler nicht machbar wäre. Die HD ist in NTSF formatiert. Weiss jemand weiter?

danke hat geklappt, und habe debian auch installieren können. Nur habe ich jetzt 2 Probleme:

1.) Ich kann die Auflösung nicht ändern, ich kann unter System -> Einstellungen -> Bildschirmauflösung
nichts wählen und es wird auch die aktuelle Auflöung nicht angezeigt. Bei derzeitiger Auflösung kann ich noch nicht mal die leiste unten sehen.

2.) Ich kann vista nicht mehr starten, es kommt immer die fehlermeldung, nachdem ich es in grub ausgewählt habe, dass die datei winload.exe beschädigt oder fehlerhaft sei.

vielleicht noch als grundsätzlicher Hinweis vor dem Verkleinern/Bearbeiten von NTFS-Partitionen: immer vorher checkdisk (heisst imho chkdsk mittlerweile) durchlaufen lassen und defragmentieren (Backup ist sowieso Pflicht).

Zum Problem beim Starten von Vista: poste mal /boot/grub/menu.lst, insbesondere den Bereich, in dem Vista konfiguriert ist.

Ich kann leider nicht beurteilen was wichtig ist und was nicht....
