Grub Debian und Windows XP

Hallo zusammen ich hab leider ein kleines Problem mit meinem Bootloader,

OS :
Debian Lenny
Windows Xp


Debian befindet sich auf hda - hda1 /boot hda2 / ( Debian ist mit LVM aufgesetzt falls das eine Rolle spielt )
Windows XP auf hdb - hdb1

Meine kenntnise was Linux angeht stehen leider noch am Anfang daher kann es sein das ich mich zumindest mit den nicht programmspezifischen Angaben irre

Im internet gibt es Zahlreiche ähnliche Probleme leider brachte bisher kein Ansatz die Lösung

keine Fehlermeldung passiert aber auch nichts egal wie lange man wartet

Ich bin leider ratlos hat jemand eine idee woran es liegen könnte ?

Zuvor war nur Windows Installiert auf der 2ten Platte die erste war leer, wurde dann mit der debian installation gefüttert

Wie die Fehlermeldung schon sagt: Der Bootloader von Windows XP fehlt. Wie heißt das Kommando zum Wiederherstellen nochmal? fixboot?

ja, fixmbr, oder eine dosbootdiskette und fdisk/mbr


Ist nur die Frage wo dann der MBR repariert wird (hda = ist ja debian und grub), oder hdb, wo der MBR repariert werden sollte ?

fixmbr

fixmbr stellt den gesamten MBR wieder her, löscht also Grub. Ich würde es deshalb erst mit fixboot versuchen.

du mußt fixmbr nur für hdb ausführen, also hda abklemmen, hdb umjumpern, fixmbr für nunmehr hda (frühr hdb) ausführen.

danach kannst du xp von hdb (nach Umbau natürlich) per grub und mapbefehle booten.
