Probleme mit der Radeon x800gto

Hallo Leute,
hab mal wieder n Problem.
Ich habe meine Radeon X300SE durch eine Radeon X800GTO ersetzt.
Er hat sie auch sofort erkannt und richtig eingestellt. Mit 3d usw.

Jetzt hatte ich einen Festplattenschaden( Western Digital )!

Hab ne neue reingebaut, Debian/etch 4.0r2 neu installiert und
jetzt geht der wirrwar los.

Neue Grafikkarte nimmt er nicht an, läuft nur im textmodus,
alte Grafikkarte läuft hoch, aber mit dem ATI treiber merkt er sich die
Einstellungen nicht. ( 1280x1024 ) schaltet bei jedem hochfahren auf
(29??x1??? ) kann ich nicht genau sehen da mein TFT das nicht mehr lesbar anzeigt.
Woran könnte das liegen?

Hallo, hab mal noch die xorg.conf reigestellt.
Habe die neue Grafikkarte reingebaut und im Textmodus installiert.
Vergisst aber bei jedem Neustart die eingestellte Auflösung
von 1280x1024 stellt sich immer wieder auf 1920x1080 ein.
