fehlerhafter framebuffer i810fb mit kernel >=2.6.15

Sony Vaio SRX41P.
Für Framebuffer auf der Konsole benötige ich i810. Vesa geht nicht auf diesem Schleppi.
In lilo.conf sind diese Parameter eingetragen:

Mit den entsprechnend selbst gebauten kerneln hat das jetzt die letzten drei Jahre bis kernel 2.6.13 tadellos funktioniert und funktioniert mit diesem kernel auch jetzt noch.

Für etch brauche ich jetzt jedoch einen kernel >= 2.6.15 und nun funktioniert das fb-device offenbar mit keinem kernel ab 2.6.15. Der Framebuffer fällt zurück auf 800x600 und der Bildschirm flackert während des Bootens ständig.

in rc.local wird die bildschirmfüllende Auflösung anstandslos geladen.
