Moin,

kennt sich jemand mit den smartmontools bzw. dem smart-notifier aus ? Wenn ich diesen starte passiert garnichts.. Smartd scheint zu laufen, obwohl ich noch nicht heraus gefunden habe wo die logs sind. Mit smartcrt klappt soweit alles.

Und in den massages ist wirklich eine Fehlermeldung:

Hallo nochmal

ich frage mich gerade, ob meine Frage irgendwie so doof ist oder ob mir einfach keiner helfen kann ?
Hat keiner einen 3ware-Controller , bzw. ein ähnliches Problem ?

Über Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar!

Hi,
aus Deiner smartd.conf lese ich, daß jeden Dienstag "long selftests" initiiert werden.
Das Ergebnis auslesen mußt Du vermutlich selbst mit

smartctl -a DEVICE

oder

smartctl -l selftest DEVICE

bei meiner PATA Platte steht da dann z.B.:

(Ich habe bislang nur zwei Tests von Hand angeschoben).

Schau halt erstmal nach ob überhaupt Tests gelaufen sind.

Ich habe auch mal einen Test "per Hand" angeschoben..
