fakeroot fehler?

Hallo,

ich habe versucht per fakeroot java zu installieren. Doch als er das paket erstellen soll, kriege ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Drücke ich Return, so kommt dann folgendes:

Was kann ich tun, damit fakeroot funktioniert und ich java installiert kriege?

Welche Java-Version willst Du denn installieren? bzw. Wie ist dein Installationsvorgang und als welcher Users führst Du das aus?

ich gehe nach der Anleitung von http://www.winhilfe.info/Linux/Debian/J ... 005040988/ vor. Ausführen tue ich dies teils als root, den fakeroot teil jedoch als normaler user. installiert werden soll java jdk 1.5

Irgendwas stimmt da nicht, lad dir das File nochmal runter, oder probiers mal just4fun mit einer anderen Version

nochmal runterladen... im moment hab ichs auf meinen rechner und dann auf den server geladen, weil die url von sun zu lang ist. wie kann ich das direkt herunterladen?

Wenn du Etch benutzt, wieso nimmst Du nicht das Paket über apt?

Sofern man non-free bei den Sources mit drinstehen hat, sollte es bei Etch auch so gehen, ja.

Was muss ich denn dann bei der Source eintragen?
