386 --> k7 [gelöst]

Hallo,

einiges habe ich mir schon mit Hilfe der Suchfunktion zusammenklauebn können, Danke!
Aber, bei dieser meldung haben dann meine Finger doch zum Zittern begonnen:

installation of this kernel image (nothing has been changed yet).

If this directory is because of stand alone modules being installed
right now, or if it does belong to an older kernel-image-2.6.8-3-k7
package but you know what you are doing, and if you feel that this
image should be installed despite this anomaly, Please answer n to the
question.

Otherwise, I suggest you move /lib/modules/2.6.8-3-k7 out of the way,
perhaps to /lib/modules/2.6.8-3-k7.old or something, and then try
re-installing this image.

Also, ich habe eine "Standardinstallation" gemacht kernel-...-386 wurde installiert und im Ordner /lib/modules/....k7 bfindet sich ein Ordner /build .

Darf ich einfach mit apt-get install kernel-...k7 den neuen Kernel installieren, und dieses Verzeichnis überschreiben lassen oder wäre da noch etwas zu beachten?

Wenn du bisher keinen K7-Kernel hast, dann brauchst du IMHO auch die Module nicht. Ich weiß zwar nicht, wie sie dann dahin gekommen sind, aber dann lösch sie doch einfach (durch überschreiben). Ansonsten mach doch, was er dir rät:
