keine Verbindung mit alcatel speedtouch usb

Hi leutz, ich hab alles so eingerichtet wie ichs in mehreren HOWTOS gelesen hab, aber ich bekomm keine verbindung ins netz.

ich bekomm eine meldung wen ich den microcode ins modem lad von wegen alles io, adsl line set up to 256 down 64 up oder so.. also eigentlich alles okidoki dan geb ich pppd call adsl ein danach ifconfig ppp0 und da steht auch was aber eben keine ip und im browser kann ich dan auch net browsen und ein ping ergibt nix und telnet status sagt no connection... :-( i dont now weiter! ich bin noch n wenig unerfahren bei linux drum :-(

Hi qbc,

also das Modem wird wichtig erkannt und die passenden Module geladen? Du hast auch schon davon gelesen, das es unter Linux funktioniert? Du versuchst die Verbindung als root aufzubauen? Du hast in /var/log/syslog nach Fehlern gesucht?

hi blackm,
danke für die erste Hilfe, ich denke es wird richtig erkannt, Module hab ich einfach die geladenb wos immer in den howtos beschieben steht usbdevfs und usb-uhci , so

und da ist die dydlog, aber ich komm ned wirklich nach was jetzt da geht und was net :-(

...manchmal ist mir aufgefallen, starte ich mein system, und alles läuft tip top ich hab sound keine fehlermeldungen usw und manchmal start ich und dann kommen lauter fehlermeldungen und hab auch kein sound und so und mir ist aufgefallen das wen ich keine Fehlermeldungen krieg dann steht da beim booten immer calculationg mudule depensies oder so ähnlich :-)

und wenn ich fehlermeldungen krieg steht datt nett! ;-) i am confused :-)

aber leider bin ich zu unerfahren um zu verstehen was es damit auf sich hat?!

ich hab auch schon update-modules gemacht wie in den howtos steht kann es damit zusammen hängen?! :-)

Das ppp keine Verbindung hinbekommt liegt sicherlich daran, das die USB Sachen oben ein paar Fehler erzeugt haben. Aber ich hab kein Plan was der Grund dafür ist. An deiner Stelle würde ich mal in dem HOWTO schauen ob es eine Homepage zu dem Modem gibt und dann da mal schauen ob es sowas wie faq oder sowas gibt.
