wlan ma111 Siocsifflags no such device

hallo,
ich hab nen problem mit dem wlan adapter netgear ma111. ich hab nun erfolgreich das modul prism2_usb compiliert und kann es auch laden. nun zu meiner vorgehensweise: wenn ich den wlan adapter in den usb port stecke kommt in etwa folgende meldung

nun hab ich einfach mal nen ifup wlan0 versucht (die karte hab ich vorher in der /etc/network/interfaces konfiguriert, hoffe das es richtig war)

und da kommt folgende meldung:

Failed to bring up wlan0
kennt jemand eventuell diese symptomatik und kann mir einen lösungsweg zeigen?
brauche da wirklich hilfe... bin mit meinem latein am ende und google, die board suche und die boardsuche in nem anderen forum ergeben auch keine brauchbaren ergebnisse.

Mach mal "ifconfig -a", mit der Option -a werden auch Interfaces angezeigt, die nicht "up" oder konfiguriert sind. Dort solltest Du irgend ein neues Interface sehen, wenn Du das Modul lädst. Ist das nicht der Fall, stimmt was mit dem Modul nicht bzw. es fehlt noch irgend etwas. Poste vielleicht mal die gesamte Ausgabe aus /var/log/syslog, wenn Du die Karte anstöpselst.

ok also bei ifconfig -a zeigt er mir die wlan0 karte... mit der konfiguration muss ich anscheinend noch was machen... aber das wird schon.
hier erst mal die /var/log/syslog hoffe das hilft weiter...

ok also bei ifconfig -a zeigt er mir die wlan0 karte... mit der konfiguration muss ich anscheinend noch was machen... aber das wird schon.
hier erst mal die /var/log/syslog hoffe das hilft weiter... hab erstmal nur den teil kopiert wo der stick erwähnt wird. alles andere wäre zu groß geworden.
