glibc in unexpected directory

Beitrag von Reto » 21.01.2006 17:30:58

Hallo

Apt-get upgrade schlägt fehl!

Code: Alles auswählen

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libc6-dev: Depends: libc6 (= 2.3.5-12) but 2.3.5-9 is installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

Also starte ich apt-get -f install (und jetzt wird hart!):

Code: Alles auswählen

(....)
(Reading database ... 154356 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace libc6 2.3.5-9 (using .../libc6_2.3.5-12_i386.deb) ...
These libraries were found in /usr/lib:
libdl.so.2
libm.so.6
librt.so.1

A copy of glibc was found in an unexpected directory.
It is not safe to upgrade the C library in this situation;
please remove that copy of the C library and try again.
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.3.5-12_i386.deb (--unpack):
subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.3.5-12_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Wie ist das gemeint?
please remove that copy of the C library and try again.
Das ganze scheint mir etwas heikel. Kann mir jemand sagen, was genau ich machen muss um nicht mein ganzes System zu schrotten?

Danke & Gruss

Computers are like air conditioners: they stop working properly when you open windows.
