hmm wenn ich die starte bekomm ich immer folgendes zu lesen:

/etc/init.d/gshield start

öhm kann das sein, dass dem da irgendwas fehlt?

hab den ganzen ip table kram als module kompiliert

Schau doch 'mal in das Script rein, da benutzt irgendwer eine ungültige iptables Option... Shit happens...

wenn du keine Ahnung hast, wozu hast du dann die Firewall?

Eine schlecht konfigurierte Wall ist bestimmt nicht besser als keine

apt-get install gshield
ich glaub kaum dass die sooo schlecht ist

das hatte ich auch dieses problem.
hole dir das original package von der homepage

http://muse.linuxmafia.org/gshield.html

damit funktioniert es einwandfrei.

wenn du die beiden skripte per diff
vergleichst, wirst du auch nen unterschied
feststellen. also wie gesagt - das original
tar.gz paket funktioniert
