debian woody kernel mit smp

servus zusammen,

ich habe da ein Problem,

installiert ist ein 2.4.20-bf2.4 kernel auf woody.
Das System läuft auf einer alten IBM 8600 Büchse, die ich zum rumspielen hier stehen habe.
Problem war damals der ios.p Treiber für den SCSI Controller ...

Problem ist, die Büchse hat 2 CPUS, aber ein

Das Problem ist natürlich SMP, aber ich habe keinen Weg gefunden, dies zu aktivieren oder einen Kernel zu installieren per apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.18-1-686-smp.

Desweiteren schrecke ich davor zurück, daß das Dingen danach nicht mehr läuft.
Auch wie ich die Lilo.conf bearbeiten muss, ist mir unkler !

warum willst du nicht in einen aktuellen kernel smp mit einkompilieren?

ist ja die meldung, vor den fehlern.
wenn du auf N gehen würdest und ihn weitermachen lässt.. sollte er eigentlich am lilo trotzdem nix machen. und du müsstest danach in der lilo.conf noch den 2ten kernel zum booten eintragen. allerdings benutze ich grub, kann dir mit lilo nicht 100pro auskunft geben.
