smartctrl/smartd ließt doch nur die Resultate davon aus.
Hier sehe ich aber zwischen #3 und #2 eine rießen Pause.
Haber ich da wohl etwas falsch verstanden?
Ohne smartd wird gar nix automatisch getestet und ich fahre meine Platten sozusagen blind?
Nebenfrage: Ich konnte bisher keine Infos dazu finden, wie häufig smartd (oder eben die Platte selbst) diverse Testformen durchführt, ohne dass ich explizit das (z.B. in /etc/default/smartd.conf) konfiguriert hätte - also default.
