pyload nach dist-upgrade deinstalliert

Hallo zusammen,

heute habe ich auf meinem server (debian bullseye) ein dist-upgrade durchgeführt, mit dem Ergebnis, dass viel python, unter anderm auch pyload 'removed' wurden.

Ich hab versucht die neueste .deb des pyloaders zu installieren, was jedoch an einer Fehlermeldung scheiterte. Die stable Version hab ich gar nicht angefasst, denn apt hat sie ja gekickt.
Also habe ich mir pyload nach debianwiki per git geholt. Ich hab versucht, bei umbenannten .pyloadverzeichnis des Benutzers, unter dem er bisher lief, in dessen Homeverzeichnis, den pyloader zu starten.
Das, was git mir da hingelegt hat, enthält keine pyLoadCore.py.

Also habe ich die setup.py versucht zu starten. Ergebnis:

Für mich sieht es so aus, als ob das Team von pyload da nachlegen muss. Muss ich jetzt warten, oder wird das unter den neuen python Versionen nichts mehr?
Wäre schade, denn so konnte ich jahrelang Downloads von meiner Workstation auslagern. Kennt jemand Alternativen?

Hab grad gesehen, dass pyload bis maximal python 2.7 läuft. Das hat apt ja entfernt. Kennt jemand einen Downloadmanager, der ähnlich funktioniert, also per Webinterface bedienbar ist?

Ich bin weitergekommen. Immerhin läuft jetzt pyload, ich kann jedoch noch nicht darauf zugreifen. Geholfen hat mir pip.
