Ich benutze diese URLs schon länger und habe (eingebildet oder nicht) ziemlich konstante Download-raten bei Updates. Was vorher oft nicht der Fall war.
Im übrigen kann ich diese Seite nur empfehlen, da sie jede Menge Repos zur Verfügung stellt.

Ich hab das noch nie benutzt weder in Stable noch in Testing
dieses Repo wird seltsamer Weise bei Simplylinux.ch auch nie mit ausgeworfen.
Auf der Seite https://www.debian.org/releases/propose ... es.de.html wird zwar etwas dazu erklärt, erhellt mich aber nicht.
Die Frage, die ich habe:
Wann landet ein Paket in dem "normalen" Update - Repo ?
Sind die proposed-updates ein zusätzlicher Test-Schritt bevor sie im Update - Repo landen? Oder wie oder was

Updates, die sicherheitskritisch sind und somit auch zeitkritisch sind werden vom Security Team betreut und landen im security repo.

Updates, die nicht sicherheitskritisch aber zeitkritisch sind landen im Updates repo. Am häufigsten findet man da Änderungen in irgendwelchen Zeitzonen files weil mal wieder ein Land die Sommerzeit geändert hat.

So wie ich es verstanden habe, ist Proposed so eine Art "Testing" für das nächste Debian Release (8.1, 8.2, etc.). Alle patches an Paketen die nicht in security oder im updates repo erscheinen sind für das nächste Debian Release.

Ich habe damit zu Wheezy Zeiten schon mal schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. So manches Update hatte da wirklich das Label testing verdient und ging über mehrere Versionen, bis ein stabil war

Andererseits kriegst Du da eben auch schneller Fixes für Bugs, die weder sicherheitskritisch noch zeitkritisch sind. Überhaupt wirst Du dann häufiger Paketupdates bekommen. Dafür tut sich dann bei einem Debian Release nicht so viel, weil Du da alles aus security, updates und proposed schon hast und nur noch das Paket mit der Release Information aktualisiert werden muss.
