Jessie & iPhone tethering

Hallo zusammen,

ich hatte neulich Jessie "mal wieder" aufgesetzt und bislang ging eigentlich alles soweit auch wunderbar (man ist ja lernfähig).
Nun habe ich mein Ei-Phone und mein Händi per USP gekoppelt und bin darüber ins Internet.
Das hat auch bisher sehr gut funktioniert - dann hatte ich irgendwann mal einen Crash und seither ist es Essig mit Internet über USB & Ei-Phone.

Das Phone merkt zwar, dass es verbunden ist und fragt die Vertrauensfrage, aber auf dem Jessie-Apple passiert nix mehr, sprich er sucht sich einen Wolf beim aushandeln einer Verbindung.

Nun... Mich würde mal interessieren, ob das ein bekanntes Problemchen ist, wo man ansetzen könnte um den Fehler zu finden etc. dazu bin ich noch zu Noob!

Hat das "Ei-Phone" kein WLAN-Tethering? So als bessere alternative, damit man kein Kabel braucht.

Was sagt denn lsusb? Taucht das iphone noch in dmesg auf, wenn du es einsteckst?

Welche iOS Version hast du ? Weil libmobiledevice ist unter Jessie bei Version 1.16

Erst ab Stretch gibt es das Paket 1.20 das bis iOS 10 funktioniert.
Entweder das Paket selber bauen oder auf Stretch upgraden.

Tethering zwischen einem Linuxrechner und einem iPhone via WLAN hat bei mir bisher rebungslos funktioniert. Selbst meiner oller EeePC 704 mit original Xandros Linux findet mein iPhone und meine 5 anderen Laptops mit Debian 4.0 bis Debian 8.6 haben damit kein Problem.

Ich habe mal das HTC von einem Kollegen an den LT gehängt...
Komischerweise funktioniert hier das Tethering einwandfrei!

Wenn ich jetzt die Kiste neu aufsetze funktioniert das auch wieder, bis es auf einmal wieder nicht mehr geht...
Und das gleiche Spiel wieder von vorne losgeht....

Tja, wenn es mit dem HTC geht, dann liegt es wahrscheinlich nicht am Laptop sondern am IPhone.

Hast du schon einmal über das Interface eth1 ( das müsste das Iphone sein) nach einem DHCP-Server gesucht? Ist der DHCP-Server im Iphone an? Suche geht mit nmap
